How we work

Numbers you can check.

  • 01

    Official specs

Power draw, inputs and weights come from Starlink's own specification sheets.

  • 02

    Dated prices

Every price carries its check date. When Starlink changes one, a single file changes and every tool follows.

  • 03

    Independent

We don't sell Starlink, and affiliate links never change a calculation.

Hear it first when Starlink changes a price

Starlink moved US prices several times this year. We check every week and email you only when something actually changes.

FAQ

Before you ask.

Is SatPicker affiliated with Starlink or SpaceX?

No. SatPicker is an independent site. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by SpaceX or Starlink, and we never sell Starlink service.

Where do your Starlink prices come from?

Roam prices and the residential starting price are read on starlink.com; other tiers are the US prices reported since June 2026. Every price shows its check date (last check: October 26, 2026). Starlink can show different prices per address, so your checkout price is the final word.

How much power does a Starlink Mini use?

Starlink's specification sheet lists 25 to 40 W on average, with a 12–48 V, 60 W DC input, or USB-C Power Delivery at 100 W (20 V / 5 A) with the USB-C cable accessory. Plan for short peaks above the average at start-up and when snow melt is active.

Is the satellite map really live?

Yes. We load the public orbital elements published by CelesTrak (refreshed every few hours) and your browser computes each satellite's position with the standard SGP4 model, many times per second.
